Lessons are built around real decisions — grocery budgets, subscription audits, irregular income — not hypothetical portfolios.
No borders
Korsvlek is built for learners regardless of where they live. Currency examples, tax references, and cost-of-living contexts vary across modules.
Independent advice
No financial products to sell, no affiliate links embedded in lessons. The curriculum is written to serve the learner, not a third party.
Structured paths
Courses follow a deliberate sequence — each lesson builds on the last, so understanding compounds rather than staying scattered.
When Korsvlek launched in 2023, the goal was straightforward: create a learning environment where someone with no financial background could work through a structured course and come out with a functioning budget and the habits to maintain it.
The platform has grown since, but the core approach hasn't changed. Courses stay focused on behaviour over theory. A lesson on tracking expenses, for example, doesn't explain why tracking matters in abstract terms — it walks through a specific method, gives you a template, and shows what the data typically reveals after 30 days.
That specificity is deliberate. Vague advice doesn't change behaviour. Concrete steps do — sometimes.
Financial literacy isn't a personality trait. It's a set of skills, and skills can be taught to anyone willing to sit with the discomfort of looking at the numbers.
